I have been invited to deliver a plenary speech at the 8th edition of the Times of India’s Global Business Summit next year in New Delhi (February). The invite came out of the blue right as the book published, but, frankly, they seemed to have made their decision prior based on an online review of my past speeches (or so they intimated). Modi, the PM, always speaks at the end of the first day. The plenary speakers tend to register above my weight class (I’m not the head of Netflix, for example, and I misplaced my Nobel medal last move), so it seems like quite the opportunity. With all such things, I’ll believe it when this pawn steps on the stage.
